History

The Bar:
The Embassy Club

Sharing a name with a 19th-century composition of Polish composer Tekla Badarzewska-Baranowska, Maiden's Prayer is a cocktail invented by some Theo of The Embassy Club by permission of bar manager M. Luigi. At least this was stated by the representatives of the New York's Criterion Theatre in response to the enormous number of enquirers as to the new cocktail mentioned in the play "Skin Deep"
